What this app stores
Your player name, chapter progress, choices, and anything you write in a reflection are saved only in your browser's local storage, on this device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
What we don't do
No account, no login, no analytics, no cookies, no third party trackers. We cannot see what you write. There is no server behind this app that your progress talks to.
Moving your progress
The Transfer code (Island, Transfer) encodes your save into text you copy yourself. It isn't sent anywhere automatically; you choose where it goes.
Outside links
Reddit and the book links on Ko-fi are outside our control and have their own privacy practices.
Something broken, or just want to say hello
This is a small, independently made game. If a chapter gets stuck, an image doesn't load, or something just feels off, an email with what happened (and what device or browser) helps a lot.
